Who knows where LtCol R.L. Ranthun went after HMM 163 in 1962-1963? Are there any of the original 163 people on here?

I visited with Col Rathbun in 1971/72. He had retired and was the Manager of the Detroit City Airport, doing well and healthy as a horse. I was stationed at Selfridge AFB with MARTD Detroit at the time. I served with HMM-163 1961/62 went to Soc Trang in 62. SF

Original reconsituted HMM-163

Who all is on here from the 1961-1962 HMM-163? There has to be more than four of us. We may be getting up there, but not so far that everyone is gone.

The last reunion up date has 92, HMM-163 Marines that have signed up, and will be in Reno. There may be others that were in 163, and then back with other squadrons for additional tours later, and are listed with other squadrons. I'll be sure to drop by the 163 bunker, and tell everyone to make contact with you.

Jim, as I had told you before if you give me your snail-mail address I will send you a list of 163 members from 62-63 that have been located. We have approximatly 30 plus that have been located.
