Fire wiped out half the house trailer where I had my gear stored while TAD to Grad School in Oklahoma. Consequently, memorabilia, (patches, photos, etc), from experiences aboard Inchon while with HMM 164 were destroyed. I noticed FART patch in the Assoc. patch collection, and a couple of photos from operation Endsweep show up. Does anyone else out there have other squadron flicks? Since HMH 463 YH 12 "Cleansweep" was posted, and noted as in the USMC Archive, I wonder if there are any HMM 164 FART Sqaudron flicks in Archives as well. How do I search the Archives? Does anyone have a HMH 463 "Pineapple" squadron Endsweep patch? Are there any other old HMM 164 FARTs out there? Birdman.

Flight ops lpd-7 haiphong

I request any info anyone may have on the mishaps of three crashes (2 USMC and 1 USN)that occured 1972-73 during operation end sweep. I was a Navy Coxswain and had to set a buffer on site to keep NVC outside during rescue. I knew one of the guys Mike and he was hurt; strange after all this time I need to find out what the end was. I was aboard the USS Cleveland LPD-7.
Thanks:)
