In summer 1965, we had our HMM-361 squadron photos made. I saw a copy of the officers photo at both Reno and San Diego. My copy is really beat up, but I had the good sense to write the guys last names on the back. For those of you who still have copies, here's the name list.

Front Row, Left to Right
Usher, Bergan, Benet, Bronson, Bridges, Cox, Bloom, Childers, Steadman, Kutchmarek, Shiffler, Ackerman, Rinehart, Mills, Henry.

Second Row, Left to Right
Johnson, Askins, Byrnes, Porzio, Brown, Graham, R.G. Adams, Ringold, Giddings, Kelly, Creighton, Feakes, Hooton.

Third Row, Left to Right
Jennings, Toettcher, Jones, Kraft, Armstrong, Sanders, L.G. Adams, Melancon, Herrington, Fogerty, Gentry, Mitchell.

Fourth Row, Left to Right
Bittig, Kendall, Myatt, Hernandez, Christian, Cederholm, R.T. Adams, Melin, Urban, Slowey, Lowe, Nash.

Hi Norm,

It would be nice if kind soul out there in cyberspace could put this officers photo on Popasmoke for us to see. I can recall so many of the names. Of course there are a number no longer with us. I was the QA Chief in the squadron, 1964/1966. Upon my return to CONUS I went to HMX-1 along with a number of our pilots and SNCOs.

Hi

Hi Norm ;
I reconized a lot of the names. I rotated with the squadron in 65 and was a crew chief and gunner. I am trying to remember the pilot and co-pilot who flew with me during operation starlight . We were shot and left the 34 on the beach. The crew chief was wounded. Later we were shot up again in another 34 and had to make an emergency landing on I belive the Iwo Jima.

If you can remember thier names I would apperciate it. I was later transfered to 263 to finish my tour.
