Greetings all,

I am a Ph.D. student at Texas Tech University and part of my
dissertation research covers Operation Daring Rebel (5-20 May 1969). I understand that HMM-362 participated in this operation and I would like to
communicate with members of HMM-362 who participated in Daring Rebel.

Moreover, I wish to thank all of you for your service to this nation and her people.

operation Daring Rebel May 1969

TTU Grad student,

I was in HMM-362 during that time but wasn't flying at the time. Might be able to put you in touch with others who were however. Several right here in the Fort Worth area.

Please let me know what you are needing.

In the meantime, look for the HMM-362 website. A quick search for Ugly Angels ought to do it.

Operation Daring Rebel

I was a member of HMM-362 during operation Daring Rebel, but to be honest, it has been so long ago, I don't remember much about it.

I served as a medevac corpsman with the Ugly Angels from August 1968 through August of 1969 and save for my R&R to Sydney, Austrailia, I was flying pretty much everyday.

I believe our squadron was at MAG-36, just south of Phu Bai at that time, but it could be just before we moved from MAG-16 at Marble Mountain.

Not sure what you are looking for.
