Would like all to know that our Red Lion Brother MGySgt, Garret Hatcher (Fat Hatch) was involved, while riding his motorcycle, with a drunk driver. He is now recovering with major injuries from the accident. Many ribs were broken, both lungs were punctured along with his spleen being damaged, and from what I understand, a lot of road rash. He is in intensive care and his prognosis is good. Please put him on the top of your prayer list. I will let you know more about him as word gets to me. You may send cards of encouragement to:
Garret Hatcher

Today's update on our brother Hatcher. He is still in ICU being heavily medicated but has been upgraded to serious condition. Our good friend and lovely lady Dot Salter (wife of Major Gene Salter, deceased) was able to get in to see Hatch for about ten minutes. And she reported to us his present condition. Not bad for an 83 year old lady. I understand they didn't want to let her in because she was not related, but she would not take no for an answer, OoRah Dot! He is on the mend and hopefully be out of ICU by the end of the week and he wants to know if anyone is interested in buying a motorcycle, slightly damaged. That's our news for the day, your prayers have helped.

Update

A quick update on our brother Hatcher's condition. He is doing well, but they did have to remove his spleen. He will remain in intensive care for several more days. Hope you continue your prayers for him, he is a great Marine.

Update on Hatcher

Great News!
This will be our last posting about MGySgt Garret Hatcher (Fat Hatch)
Hatch has been moved to a private room, all the tubes removed and speaking with him last night, he sounded strong and on the road to recovery. He asked me to thank everyone for their prayers (he needed them) and the tremendous amount of cards encouraging his recovery and health. Be it noted that the nurses in Intensive Care had surmised that Hatcher probably has had 30 or 40 different callers claiming to be his brother, ha ha. We know, as Marines, what that means. In a couple of weeks, should be able to contact him at his email fathatch@comcast.net . Hatch asked me to say thank you so much for your concern and that you are his true brothers.

Thanks POP

Thanks POPs sure is good to see and hear of answered prayers. We have had so many that have had health troubles these past months. So again I'll just say thanks to God for his presents while Hatch was going though this battle. Then for you sharing the progress he was making. Semper FI
