Anyone know the Sqn. for the crashed helicopter sometime back...

I don't remember details anymore, but there was a crash several years back where 31 Marines perished...
Does anyone know any details?

yeah.
HMH-361 flew straight into the ground, supposed sand storm but truth be known that unit had not been carrying pax at night for months they had a few mishaps at al asad, Our 53 detachment with 24 MEU was doing most of the 53 ops during that time.

Then they started flying nights again shortly there after they crashed out middle of no where desert out west of al asad.

That was a pretty bad time for helo crews in OIF.
