.......... one of our comrades passed away this morning in the VA hospital in Phoenix AZ. Jesse Deaton (old 462, and HMH 463) passed away this morning with his love of his life Pat by his side. No other info is available at this time. When she notifies me I will pass it on.

It's always sad to hear of the passing of one of our brothers. His primary squadrons were 462/463 flying 37's in 1965 in Nam and then 53's. He also spent some time in H&MS and even attached to 165 as part of a composite squadron 1972. He wasn't a 4 and out Marine like many of us.
