Sad news, USMC Vietnam/Air America H-34/Twin-pac pilot Marin G. "Buzz" Baiz passed last night at his home in North Fork, CA (In the hills above Merced.) This picture from the popasmoke reunion in SAN 2014.

Marin passed peacefully at home this evening 22:50 hours. We knew it would not take long. He has been through so much these past couple of months, and he courageously withstood it all, but I knew he was tired. He tried very hard to heal, but finally knew that he was dying. Please let DK know. I am sorry neither of you were able to see him one last time. Just know he loved you both.

Sorry to hear about Buzz. He was a hootch mate at Dong Ha in 1967.
