I'm planning my 2012 activities and itineraries and would like to develop a budget for the 2012 reunion at JW Marriott. I'm going to need 2 suites for my wife and I and 5 kids so budget planning is important and would like to get the prices as early as possible to see if I can afford it or not. When will the prices be posted?

Re: Reunion room rates

Guys

If you got the reunion packet, then you got the newsletter. The following is taken from the Frag Order in the newsletter:

4. Hotel reservations 1-800-266-9432. Let reservations
know you are with USMC/Combat Helicopter
Association (POPASMOKE) for the Association
rate. Reunion rates of $109.00 are good from 7-19
July.

Here it is, November 10, Marine Corps birthday, as I sit sipping my brandy alone wishing that I would recieve a birthday packet about the reunion in Orlando so that I may begin to dream about the possibilities of spending some time in Florida...again...in the summer. But I guess that I Falls, MN is at the end of the line as far as USPS is concerned. But, the Marine Corps taught me to adapt, improvise and overcome. So...I'll just sit back, relax, and have another brandy with faith the USPS will eventually bring the awaited word. Isn't that what we all wanted...the word!!

Re: Reunion room rates

I'm with you "stonko" ...... here it is the second week in November and no
newsletter and no reunion packet.

..... and no hotel prices I can find in the attached files here.

..... and I am a Life Member ..... so that makes me current.

OK, I stand corrected ..... Larry did slip the hotel price in on the 6th above , but
there still no other prices on the attached files except for the tours.

Newsletter went to USPS last week. Not going to make excuses for the post office. Ideally plan is to get the newsletter out and on the street Oct, February and June. We had some last minute issues with the hotel that had a trickle down effect on the editor, publisher and ultimate mailing date. This caused a change in mailing schedule and rather than put out incomplete or bad gouge, made the call to delay- Gomen

Last week I posted "Reunion Docs with registration, tours and price info". Here it is again
