For planning 2014 Reunion planned for 11-14 Sept 2014 at the Town & Country

Last time we went to the Town & Country they ran the price of beer through the roof the minute our reunion started. There was also a lot of grumbling about the hotel ingeneral with the result being we would never go back. You might talk with the guys and see if the hotel can be a little more accommodating.

Price of adult beverages and having them in the squadron hootches was addressed in discussions with the hotel sales staff.
Contract includes: "Group may bring in own alcohol and dry snacks in all hospitality Hootches.
We can't control what the hotel charges at their bars, but you can control cost within the Hootches.
The sales manager did ask that we not sound reveille from any of the balconies- told him I'd pass that on.

OH SHOOT ! Slick that wasn't that Bad was it?. Guess as Good Marines we need to show them who and what we ARE. Following Orders! 262 had a Good reunion and to bad more of you didn't pop In.

HMM 165 IS WORKING to identify a coordinator in the San Diego area. While I have attended all Pop A Smokes since 1990, duties of the coordinator have changed over the years. Can you please advise what is expected of the coordinator this year so we can define it to our members in the area.

Slick I have looked over the schedule and noted that a "Memorial Service" was not listed. Am I to assume that it will be held on base where the static display is listed?
