I am a Vietnam vet with 3, 13 month tours under my belt and have skin cancer. I wasn't very smart or didn't know what the sun would to to your skin. When I was't flying and working on the flight line, filling sand bags or anything else we always pulled our shirts off and caps, down at the bench at Marble Mountain.
No Sun Screen anywhere, we didn't really know what sun screan was.
Now I am paying for this. I have had about 6 Squamous-cell carcinomas cancer spots removed, including one about 4" by 6" had to take out that much to get all the cancer out. I have had about 3 dozen spots removed from my face, neck, and backe by freezing them, and they contain to pop up, in different spots.
I see the Dermatologist, every 3 months or when I notice a growth poping up.
SO IF YOU HAVE ANY GROWTH THAT WON'T HEAL SEE A DERMATOLOGIST.
