Buno 150557

This aircraft served in Vietnam with HMM-362 in 1967-68 as recorded in my pilot's log book. Entries occurred in Chu Lai, aboard the USS Okinawa, and Phu Bai.

Another hit

T's Flight Logs, 362, have two entries for this BuNo;

March 27/28 nightime flight to Phu Bai, and

June 26 flight to Princeton.

Forgot to add that was 1968.

Sheehan's idea was a good one, I can fwd copies of page, too.

I flew this aircraft 5 times between Jun 67 and Sep 67 on the USS Okinawa and out of Phu Bai to Dong Ha and Khe Sahn. If you wish I can scan the appropriate pages from my log book for you.

Re: Uh-34d #150557-Hoist Bird, center Main Page.

Hmm-265 had an external mounted, hoist Bird as well in '69. It was EP-11. I know, as I trained on it, then went to #13 for 2 weeks as well, and took the check ride after 198 Combats that month, then getting my own, #14. Enjoyed the three #14's I had. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.
